Ryan Brown entered the competitive world of sports in High School playing on every team he could find the time for, tennis, badminton, volleyball, cycling and basketball. He played Volleyball at the University of Laurier and was recognized as an OUAA First-Team All-Star and All-Canadian Honorable Mention. It was during this time that Ryan accidentally found Yoga. A therapist developed an intense pre workout stretching program to help prevent recurring injuries that hindered his first season. This resulted in an injury free university career and an unbelievable 3 inch increase of his vertical jump in just two months.
Ryan went on to practice formal yoga in studios for the last 5 years. Inspired by the craft he proceeded with his Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India under the guidance of Chetan Mahesh at Association for Yoga and Meditation India. Wanting to incorporated the benefits of Yoga and Sports, Ryan proceeded to complete his Joga Teacher Training with Jana and is looking to help share the benefits that Joga will provide to athletes.
